Sunday, September 14, 10 am -3 pm: "Society Row" Sale. Waltham Field Station (UMass), 240 Beaver St. Waltham MA. Saturday, September 20, noon - 3:30 pm: The Annual Plant Show and Sale of the American Begonia Society (Buxton/Boston Branch) and the American Gloxinia and Gesneriad Society (New England Chapter). Waltham Field Station. Anyone may enter plants in a judged competition. Many unusual varieties for sale, most grown by Society members (often from cuttings of plants in the show). Friday, September 26, 2 - 6 pm and Saturday, September 27, 8 am - noon: Middlesex Conservation District Fall Bulb and Perennial Sale including fall-blooming asters and mums. Proceeds fund conservation work. See their website at <http://www.middlesexconservation.org/> (there will be additional plants not listed on the preorder form on the Web ). On Route 110 north from Westford towards Chelmsford, take the first right onto South Chelmsford Road (there'll be a sign at the turn), proceed to the 4-H Fairgrounds.
